Beamish: the signet ring you could not buy
The brand turned a collectible object into an invitation to contribute something personal.
Ireland · Reported 4 Sep 2026Issue 1 · September 2026
The case
Beamish commissioned sterling silver signet rings from Dublin jeweller Joshua Reynolds, embedding dehydrated stout in resin.
The rings were unavailable to buy; people offered possessions with character for a potential exchange.
A surprise All Together Now pop-up featured Kojaque and Kean Kavanagh; a launch video invited social barter proposals.
At Dublin Flea, collector Ian Dowling judged proposed exchanges; only selected offers secured a ring.
